BOSU® has been strengthening the bodies and minds of fitness enthusiasts the world over since 2000. With more than two decades of success, the company has expanded their product line and developed a series of training videos to help users get the most out of their equipment.
While the BOSU brand is well known in the fitness world, their online presence needed muscle. They lacked the online assets to properly promote their brand: their website was operating on an outdated ecommerce platform, and their online ordering wasn’t syncing with inventory, which affected sales and tracking.

Their website was slowing down, while their product offerings were speeding up. They needed to integrate new products, as well as provide a space for trainers and gyms to register for courses and buy in bulk.
So BOSU came to us in need of a full-force website, ecommerce platform, equipped with custom systems that integrate into their business management, all done in a manner worthy of the BOSU name.
First, we designed a dynamic website compatible across desktop, mobile, and tablet, keeping the BOSU brand front and center. Then we created custom-developed solutions to connect online orders to warehouse inventory for easy tracking.
Next, we developed the fully customized BOSU U, where they could offer online training and courses. And to make their videos easy to access and purchase, we integrated a video-on-demand subscription platform.
In addition to the training resources, we updated the product names, photography, and videography of specific products to increase their appeal and highlight their utility.
Finally, we wanted to drive more traffic to their sleek new website. In that aim, we established an online marketing platform with user-friendly email marketing templates.
Throughout the process, we enjoyed collaborating with BOSU’s in-house marketing team to ensure all marketing efforts—digital and analog—were in sync.
Our thought was that BOSU’s customers should sweat while using their exercise equipment—not while navigating their website. We accomplished that and more. In fact, Liz Rowsey, BOSU’s internet development supervisor, raved about our work: “I love the site! You guys are awesome as usual!!!”
BOSU now boasts a powerful website with full-force ecommerce capabilities. And thanks to their new online marketing platform—and their in-house marketing team’s efforts—they’re seeing increased traffic and sales through their website.
